The transformation of Kaniksu Land Trust began as a rebranding and identity project. It quickly morphed into an exciting project when the entire team got fired due to an unexpected opportunity of putting 180 acres of forested land into a protected trust. Creating a “Community Forest” owned by the community for the community by the community was an unbelievable team effort. The Pine Street Woods brochure was part of a fundraising campaign that raised over 2 million dollars to purchase 180 acres to create this community forest. Their website and branding has gone through several rebirths since this initial start but its all about  building on a philosophy “Communities with easy access to unspoiled nature thrive. They are healthier, happier and economically more vibrant.”
