I have been the Art Director of Sandpoint Magazine since 1998. It began as a small local magazine that focused on Sandpoint as a resort town and ski hill in 1994, The previous issue to me starting was 48 pages black and white + 1 color with a color section. In over 20 years the Magazine has become a success story, reaching page counts of 225 pages, full color.
Sandpoint Magazine, published biannually is noted for its excellent journalistic content and visual beauty. It’s a product we, as a team, are very proud of and as a community love to share. I have been told many times the publication outshines, in quality, that of a much larger metropolitan area publication. It has been a true gift to have worked on a product that has as much of our heart and soul as this magazine does. It reflects the passions we all share in living in this beautiful, wild place.
